This set of 50 cards has been designed to challenge students understanding of the subject. Written for AQA, they are equally useful for other exam boards. A number of unusual chemical contexts is used to widen thinking.

The questions themselves have 2 parts. Part 1 is a statement know as an assertion and part 2 is a second statement known as the reason. Either both are correct and the reason supports the assertion, both are correct but the reason is irrelevant to the assertion or either/both are incorrect.
