Here is a very detailed resource, structured around the themes explored by both texts of American Literature in the period 1880-1940. The notes are thus structured based on essay plans, with key paragraphs and signposts to favour essay writing on the topic, as well as structured thought, exam technique and practice.

It contains a large grid directly comparing both texts on key themes.

It also explores and provides great detail (analysis, quotes from both texts, contextual notes and critical quotes) in the following themes:

Women
Social Class
Past and Present
Dreams, Hope and Fantasy
Freedom and Opportunity (the American Dream)
Relationships
Ellen vs May
Identity, Family and Genealogy
Nick as narrator (specifically on Gatsby)
What makes Gatsby “great” (specifically Gatsby)
Carelessness and Hedonism
More additional themes such as corruption, criminal underworld, spiritual vacuum etc also explored
More detailed contextual notes

Also includes a set of notes on other texts of this American period to aid analytical points in essay writing and provide context.
Whilst these notes are particularly applicable to anyone studying the text, they are formatted to tailor the assessment marking on the OCR specification on the topic of American Literature 1880-1940.

This is a very good set of notes but does not appear to be the updated version as the focus is definitely on Gatsby. If there is a version with context and criticism for A of I, I would love a copy.
