I am extremely unimpressed with this resource. This is not appropriate for an A Level course. For example, one of the Learning Objectives is:

'To discover significate work and influence of Mary McLeod Bethune'

Information in Ppt regarding Mary McLeod Bethune simply states that she was appointed an advisor to the White House. Then there is another reference to her that reads:

'Please research in greater depth who Mary McLeod Bethune was and her role in government during the FDR years from 1933'

This is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Only other task is:
'Research using the internet the life and struggles of Eleanor Roosevelt. Use the ‘5 W rule’ when writing up your findings
Any further details you can add to her work trying to advance black American lives would be useful for your essays… '

If 'Lockyinit' thinks this is a good teaching resource, then I'm putting myself forward for Teacher of the Year.

Deary me.
