A Midsummer Night's Dream full term SOW (incl. resources) year 9 mixed ability

Full SOW on Midsummer for a year 9 mixed ability group, although with the removal of 'core' tasks could easily be adapted for top set/ 1 groups. Suits ability range from 3a - 7a. Questions, tasks and resources are differentiated using language of 'core, challenge, super challenge' and colours red- green denote the same level of skills. Based upon students watching the film first (an end of previous term treat!) to aid understanding, but the whole text is read. There is an emphasis on terminology to support GCSE skills and modelled examples of PEE paragraphs/ sentence starters. Masks are included for a drama lesson too.
