A challenging, rigorous and detailed unit focused upon Shelagh Delaney's charming 1950s play 'A Taste of Honey'! This unit has been created specifically for the new AQA Paper 2a (Modern Texts) exam to be sat from June 2017. This unit focuses upon analysis of the whole text, punctuated by two practice exam questions (one focused upon character, the other on theme) plus a closed-book mock exam. Students are supported throughout these with sentence starters to help them structure their responses, and are given a choice of questions.

A useful resource- especially considering the lack of resources for ATOH. Good for comprehension skills and basic literacy but don't think this will really challenge my pupils. Would have liked more variety of tasks for £6!
