The first set 100 Kanji is designed to help advanced students reach a level where they can read difficult materials on their own. Japanese A-level and university students will master all 100 kanji words adapted into real sentences. The PowerPoint display engages three steps withing the game/quiz. Firstly he or she has to be able to read the full sentence including the highlighted kanji; secondly, the solution is revealed through the hiragana reading. Finally the translation into English is given.
