    Thank you for this resource. I used some of the material for a power point. The students found it so hard to get energised to learn the lesson in Word format, so I made a nauseating power-point which they hated. Eventually, they remember what is an adverbial phrase and how to use one thanks to you.

    The last sentence has no phrase, it is a subordinate clause.
