Within this unit of work students will begin to learn how to use a script in performance and they will develop their confidence in performance and enjoyment of the subject as a whole. In this unit, students will learn about Africa, African Theatre and three key chosen African Myths and Legends from countries within the continent. Students will learn how to use both key rehearsal techniques and performance skills (physical and vocal) to ensure that their audience obtains their overall intent. Students will learn techniques for remembering their blocking and their lines and will learn how to give constructive feedback and evaluate their own performance in practice.
