This is a fun matching activity on equations (multi-step, absolute value, quadratic with real and complex roots, radical, rational, exponential and logarithmic). There are given three equations of one type on each slide as the problems are labeled with large alphabetic letters written on pictures of squirrels. The possible answers are given on the same slide as they are labeled with the same but small alphabetic letters written on pictures of acorns. The pictures of acorns are movable pieces, so they can be moved toward the pictures of squirrels. Thus students can match each problem with its answer. The slides are eight. The problems are challenging of various difficulty level.
The product can be used as a fun autumn review on all the equations that Algebra 2 and PreCalculus students have already studied. This can also be used as a group activity (groups of 2 and 3) and turn to competition between groups.
*I have included a slide with all elements movable and editable in case the teacher decides to add trigonometric equations to these. If you want me to add a slide of trig equations I would do.
*This product is created with Google Slides, but it is uploaded here as a Power Point presentation (so it can be used as a digital drag and drop activity) and in PDF format.
