Amplified Speaker Project (17 page workbook and PCB design)

A complete design and make project combining Electronics and Resistant Materials activities. The project includes the soldering of a ciruit board to produce a 5 Watt audio amplifier based on the low cost LM384 amplifier IC. All components can be sourced from rapidonline.

The worbook guides students through the construction of the circuit, selecting tools,components and equipment and the design of the casing.

This resource includes:

  • A 17 page design and make workbook
  • A PCB layout for the amplifier (Circuit Wizard file also available on request - (CWZ files can’t be added on TES)
