This is a complete lesson for AQA Modern Britain, 1951-2007, which covers the liberal reforms of the 1960s.
A powerpoint is included which includes a starter of Roy Jenkins’ speech from 1959.
There is a handout to introduce students to the reforms together with an A3 sheet for students to complete. Students will need the AQA Sally Waller textbook to complete this or any other A level textbook of the period.
Four short clips connected to the four areas of reform are also included to assist students with the completion of the table.
Students are then asked to make a judgement on who was responsible for the introduction of the reforms.
