This flexible resource can be used as an unseen listening test in class to assess aural skills in the manner of a section A question, a test of prior knowledge in the manner of a section B question or an independent homework task. Answers are included for all questions including indicative content for the extended 5 and 10 mark answers. The question styles mirror those that may be encountered by the candidate in the exam and can aid them in becoming familiar with the paper ahead of June.

Links are provided on each document for the audio tracks.

What’s included:
x3 papers which cover Pat Metheny - Cross the Heartland, Gwilym Simcock - These are the Good Days and Miles Davis - So What.

Each song is covered by its own paper and asks between 14 and 24 questions aiming to extract as many key terms from the candidate as possible, encouraging them to listen and successfully identify each one in the extract.

I appreciate any useful feedback you may have so I can improve my resources for others.
