This is a gentle introduction to homeostasis that I created for my lower ability year 10s.
There are a few slides where they need to take notes (print off for some students)
There is a 6 minute video (the lovely amoeba sisters) overview of homeostasis. I have included a question sheet (answers in powerpoint) so students are answering questions as they watch.
A short exam question at the end to test understanding - then a quick plenary question session to check recall of the main points.
The exam question is basic - you may want to replace this for a higher ability class.
