Designed for the initial teaching of the 2015 poems from the AQA Poems Past and Present Anthology- Love and Relationships cluster. There is PowerPoint for each poem in the cluster and each lesson contains: a starter activity, context/biographical overview of the poet, and an introduction/initial impressions activity. The aim of these lessons is for students to begin to understand and annotate the poems in their anthologies. Each lesson also includes a poetry SMILE analysis mat for students to use to scaffold their independent analysis and a PEEL writing activity to reflect on their understanding.

Disappointing as I have purchased some of the poems separately a while ago which were really detailed and easily split into multiple lessons and then thought I would purchase the bundle, but the quality is inconsistent. Some of the poems are barely covered.
Although slightly samey as others have mentioned, I would still suggest this resource is excellent value for money and takes you through all the poems consistently within the love and relationships cluster. Thanks very much.

I agree. The starters are great but all of the activities are the same towards the end of the PowerPoint. Not quite worth the £10 price tag!
Disappointing and not worth £10- lots of the slides are exactly the same on each powerpoint even though the graphics are attractive- the starters are all good ideas but then it becomes a little too similar.
