This is a complete lesson which looks at the educational changes throughout the 1960s including the introduction of comprehensive education, the increase in university provision and the implementation of the Open University.
The lesson begins with an introduction to the comprehensive system - there is a very short clip included of an early comprehensive. The AQA Sally Waller textbook is needed to complete the table on comprehensive education.
The lesson then looks at the increase in university provision and the introduction of the Open University.
The lesson concludes with a source evaluation task.
