A sensitive and thoughtful resource regarding the Russian - Ukraine Crisis that will help support the skills needed to teach the construction of a compare / contrast response.

Particular reference is made to writing an effective response; you can however tweak this as appropriate.

Perfect as a thought provoking lesson that will enable pupils to reflect on the situation involving Russia and Ukraine. This resource can be used between with a range of age groups and is a perfect introduction or revision tool for ‘article’ writing.

This includes:
-A reflective engager that will help pupils connect with the lesson’s content.
-A number of scaffolded tasks which increasingly ask pupils to consider the skills necessary for constructing a compare / contrast response.
