Art & Design Scheme of Work based on landscapes and gridding to improve accuracy.

Objectives students will learn are listed below:

 Develop the accuracy and detail of their line drawing skills.
 Develop their knowledge of, and ability to use several different drawing media.
 Develop their understanding of the different qualities that different media possess.
 Develop their understanding and use of quality of line to give work more detail.
 Practise and develop their skills in the use of pencil crayon.
 Learn to present their ideas in 2 and 3-dimensional form.
 Develop the ability to manipulate 3D media and refine their use of pencil crayon.
 Develop the ability to make reasoned judgements about work before adapting and refining ideas to allow them to produce a more successful outcome.
 To use a view finder effectively to produce a good standard outcome.
 Associate colour with emotions.
 Demonstrate creative design skills and appropriate annotations.
 Investigate and research appropriately and effectively.
 Develop knowledge and understanding of cultural art.
 Develop an understanding of both the historical and present-day art work.
