AS Level PE OCR - 1.2 Diet and Nutrition unit presentation and work booklet
This presentation is a 63 slide presentation covering the 1.2 Diet and Nutrition unit within the AS Level PE course. The presentation includes the following individual chapter areas:
- Diet
- Components of a balanced diet including: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, fibre and water. For each components there are direct performance links and food sources.
- Energy intake, balance and expenditure including case studies linked to performance and sport
- Ergogenic aids - broken down into three areas - pharmacological aids, physiological aids and nutritional aids.
The student work booklet has been created to work directly alongside the presentation. At the end of each lesson or little topic area, there are exam style questions for the students to complete.

The tables are there to use along with the student work booklet when filling in details regarding components of a balanced diet and all of the ergogenic aids. This will become clearer when the documents are opened!

What a wonderful resource! Full of all the content required to meet the specification, very colourful and clear. A fantastic resource for the new OCR content. If you have any more of these, they would be great!
