The powerpoint is the main teaching input and plenary. Also includes an introduction to north, east, south and west but this can be cut off/deleted if you don't want to include it. Blank grids are provided for pairs to play battleships for real like the game as an extension; the larger grid is for higher ability children. Use the blank grids with instructions to model the extension. If you think the higher worksheet (HA) is too hard then just use the lower (LA) worksheet, and vice versa.
