This lesson introduces students to an imaginary French town and includes a starter activity, main session and plenary. The lesson introduces students to the town by talking about the various places in the town including shops and buildings. They will also be able to describe where these buildings are in relation to one another and say where they would go to buy specific items. The lesson also provides an opportunity to focus on the grammar of au/a la./a l' and du/de la/ de l'. The lesson would be ideal to cover in class just before taking a class on a real day trip to France.
