KS1 Number - Blank Alien Visual Aid
This resource consists of a blank alien template onto which different number of cut-out eyes can be placed to practise counting skills. Pupils can create their own aliens and then be challenged to create their own number stories in small groups, adding the eyes on their aliens together.
This is a useful visual aid to support pupils during addition or subtraction activities, or for use a plenary activity to assess pupils' understanding of simple addition. It can also be used for displays.
