CVC Words: Monster Meddling! 63 Large CVC Blending Strips and 16 CVC Blending Mats: Monster Meddling is a set of large monster-themed letter cards and blending mats to teach and reinforce the concept of blending sounds to produce spoken words. This set is perfectly timed for your Halloween themed literacy centers. Your kiddos will have lots of fun simply blending beginning, middle and end sounds to make words.

The Blending mats can be printed on card stock and laminated. Your kids can write letters on them or use play dough to form letters. This set is also perfect for review of spelling at the end of a spelling unit or oral work with your students. I suggest that you start off using the blending mats and then move on to letter cards, or encourage the stronger students to use the blending cards for CVC practice.
