Some of this information is incorrect. A cadence to vi is deceptive, and a cadence to V is a half cadence. It is true that both are "imperfect", but we have more specific terms. An imperfect cadence is any cadence which does not meet all of the following criteria: 1.) Cadence from V-I 2.) Both chords in root position. 3.) Final tonic has root in the soprano voice (or highest position in the chord).
