Jigsaws created with Tarsia of capital cities and countries. The resources are in pdf form with the solution at the end of each jigsaw (don't photocopy and hand out this to the children!) and in the original Tarsia form. The world capitals includes the 30 most populous countries. There are also jigsaws of capitals by continent. Europe 1 has the 30 most populous countries in Europe; Europe 2 has smaller countries. I have tried to stick to independent countries. However the smallest jigsaw involves 15 pairs so South America and Australasia & Oceania include some dependencies. Apologies to some small countries in Europe which have been omitted. If a country is transcontinental I have assigned it to one continent. The 30 most populous countries will appear in 2 jigsaws (world and a continental one).
