Relevant for all new 2016 GCSE specification in cell biology

Teach pupils the function of nucleus, ribosomes, mitochondria, membrane, cell wall, chloroplasts, vacuole in eukaryotes and plasmids in prokaryotes.

Print the laminate sheet double sided and laminate for students to use as reference. Print the foldable double sided and fold into three. Cut along the dotted lines to provide flaps for animal, plant and bacterial cells and also flaps for the organelles. Pupils then use these to test each other and learn the parts of the cell.

PowerPoint then goes through each structure.

Crossword and word search for organelles - both with 3 versions differentiated can be used as plenary and there is tick list to check understanding.
