This is a lesson that I did for an observation and uses the John Lewis advert The Man on the Moon http://www.literacyshed.com/manonmoon.html . I focused on how to write a quality character description. This lesson also supported the development of reading as the children had to use inference skills. It would suit KS2 pupils. Also, the observation went very well!! This includes a Smart notebook presentation which has also been converted to Powerpoint.
