Circle Definitions - Gender and Ethnicity
Cut out and if feeling flush laminate the horizontal strips. The left hand side has a word and the right hand side a definition. Hand out all the slips to your students and then pick someone to start (it can be anyone). They read their word aloud, then wait for the person with the matching definition to read that out, once they have that person then reads their word and so it goes on until you have gone through the whole class and every slip is read out back to the starting person. If you don't go through all the slips then you have matched them wrong.

I like to time this with students so they can try to get faster, but redistribute the slips each time so they don't get complacent. You can work it by reading the definition first if you want.
