Civil Rights: Brown vs. The Board of Education
This lesson is based around a case study; Brown vs The Board of Education. Pupils are encouraged to evaluate the significance of civil rights movements and consider why they were targeting educational reforms. This lesson can be followed up with a lesson on the Little Rock Nine (1957) to compare and contrast educational reform and its significance to progress in civil right. \n\nThis lesson is adapted from studyhistory.co.uk
