CJL Hockey Booklet Volume 2 - Small Games - is a second document of 50 diagrams of small games ideas and explanations to assist a coach when they are planning and delivering sessions. The small games ideas act as foundations for the coach to incorporate a set skill or objective for the players to work on during the session. The small games in the session should have a purpose that relates to a skill (for example working on tackling) or tactical component / phase of the game (for example pressing, out-letting, defensive transition, attacking transition, defence and attack). Small games are great for adding rules, creating competition in the session, helping players work on individual development and replicating the in-game chaos. The booklet also contains information and ideas on session planning and ideas around how to change the dynamics of your session content.
