This complete unit of work goes along the teaching of Claro 1 Me Presento 1.6 ¡Tod@s a clase! The power point starts by introducing the classroom items, there are 2 slides to drill the vocabulary before moving to the listening exercise Escuchar 1. The difference between masculine and feminine nouns is explained in the next slide, the learning in trsted in the next slide where students must categorise the nouns. The grammar to explain how to make masculine and feminine nouns into the plural is then explained, along with a slide to practice the grammar rules alongside ‘tengo’, ‘no tengo’, ‘necesito’, ‘hay’ and ‘no hay’. Following on from this is the answer to the translations in Traducir 3. The photo card is the next item on the power point before the Leer 6 poem activity. There is a plenary for students to do in pairs or a class, turning the pictures into a full dialogue.
