Lesson 10 in this German series revises previous language and structures (pronouns, school bag items, definite and indefinite articles) but also introduces learners to colours and to the verb haben (as usual with song and gesture). To give learners a productive outcome for the colours they learn, teachers can return to the first 3 slides and elicit either simple responses from them orally or ask them to choose a painting and write some sentences about it, using a dictionary to look up new nouns and use them with the correct case ending e.g. Es gibt einen Elefant. Ich sehe eine Katze.
