A4 sheets - 1 per sequence. Pupils complete individually or in pairs then stick up sheets and discuss the sequences.

A nice way to start a lesson on sequences at A-level. The questions ask students for the next in the sequence and what happens as n tends to infinity, the notation used at A-level is also introduced. This would provide a good source of discussion to go on to look at summing sequences. Thank you for sharing.
