Note - I have included some questions on the powerpoint but you will need to use edexcel worksheets for this lesson.
This lesson also covers specific heat capacity and gives pupils some practice at the equation. I have included the links below to the free resources i have used on this power point
Starter: Pupils read the text/ information (oon powerpoint) and highlight it. They then summarise it in 3 sentences
Main: Talks about temperature vs heat, heating/ cooling curves and SHC. Uses digrams, practice questions, videos and graphs.
Plenary: choice of an evalluation tree of SUM up exercise
