Included you will find a Scheme of Work (including aims and objectives) for teaching towards the Unit 1 exam. Alongside the scheme you will also have handouts for each session as well as any additional resources. Furthermore there will be links to Prezis to accompany teaching each session. You are free to edit all handouts and make a copy of each Prezi so that you can modify them to suit your needs.
The scheme will take you throughout the Autumn term and prepare your students for examinations in January.
There is a mock exam the week before half term and one before the Christmas break as well as time to complete extra revision/cram sessions on identified weak areas.
An example mock for the half term is included covering only what the students will have learnt. It is recommended past papers are used in the final mock exam.
The scheme works through every topic that is stated in the 2013 Creative Digital Media Production BTEC Specification.
Through teaching this unit this way I have had 100% success at Level 2 since implementation.
Preferably requires centres to have access to Photoshop.
Each Lesson is timed to last 1.5 hours but can be adjusted accordingly.
