Creative writing mentoring : Part 1
Children have in born talents but identifying and nurturing them is part of the teacher's responsibility. I noticed my daughter's prowess in creative writing as I was home schooling her IGCSE First Language English essay writing. I gave her more exposure and she took up the challenge. In no time she developed a well written essay into a novel. I mentored her for two years from her 13th year and she completed her novel in the midst of IGCSE exams preparation . I was amazed at what TALENT MENTORING, as a teaching strategy can achieve. You may visit and select Miss Vongaiishe P. Chimuti, The Survival to view the novel.
