This is a whole lesson aiming at a year 9, 10 or a weak year 11.
Starter: Look at the picture and fill in the gaps
Translate vocabulary from French to English whilst listening to French music: Essential vocabulary to describe a photo.
Peer assessment: mark your peer and give a score out of 34
Chant the verb 'to be' and 'to have'. Send a student outside the classroom and let the class decide on who will give the signal. When the student gives the signal, classmates will change pronoun when conjugating the verb 'to be'. Let the student come back in lesson, his job is to find out who gives the signal. While chanting, students will learn the verb etre and avoir. Following this, let them fill in the gaps,
