Descriptive and Narrative Writing Resource Pack

Targeted at KS4 pupils, the adaptable resource pack provides students with a clear insight into the expectations of the exam criteria. With modeled examples and analyses of the linguistic devices that constitute effective descriptive and narrative writing, pupils then consider ways in which they can make their written expression more intriguing and explorative.

Unlike other resources, this pack enables pupils to recognise the linguistic devices that differentiate descriptive from narrative writing. In doing so, pupils will be able to write more consistent and clear responses that are entirely descriptive or narrative.

While targeted at KS4, this resource is also accessible and engaging for KS3 pupils.
