After feedback on previous uploads I have created a series of PowerPoint based lessons for unit four of the OCR (new) Religion, philosophy and ethics in the modern world (J625/06–10) exam. This is lesson five which contains a PowerPoint that outlines the influence of the Church on education. It also comes with an information/task sheet and a copy of an article from the Humanist Association to be used in conjunction.
This unit was planned using 'Religious Studies by Lorraine Abbott with Steve Clarke' and contains information taken from this textbook and activities based around it. My school does not have a class set of this book and as such it is not necessary for teaching these lessons.
