Discussing how a character's feelings change

This is a worksheet designed around the story the tunnel by Anthony Browne. I have used the character of Jack as a focus to get the children thinking about how his feelings change throughout the story i.e when he is brave or scared. To extend my Higher ability I asked them to write a synonym for the words brave/scared to show the depth of Jack's feelings. I have used this with different characters and the sheet is easy to edit. This generates super discussion and is also suitable for KS2.
