While video games are a pastime enjoyed by millions, as with all things that are enjoyable there is a possibility of addiction.

This PowerPoint covers the basics of video games addiction aimed at KS3-KS5 students. You will talk to them about the differences between playing a lot of games and addiction, how to notice the symptoms of addiction and what to do if they suspect they or a friend might have a problem.

All slides are accompanied by presenter notes to guide you through what to say as presenting each slide. A basic understanding of modern technology and media in assumed.
