While video games are a pastime enjoyed by millions as with all things that are enjoyable there is a possibility of addiction.

This PowerPoint covers the basics of video games addiction, signs to look out for and advice on what to do.

This Presentation is aimed at Staff wishing to learn and understand more about Videogame Addiction. All slides are accompanied by presenter notes to guide you through what to say as presenting each slide. A basic understanding of modern technology and media in assumed.

Perfect as a conversation started with Secondary school students potentially battling addiction problems or noticing early warning signs.

About the Author - I work in an OFSTED Grade 1 Secondary school as the Online Safeguarding Coordinator and Online Child Protection. I am a trained CEOP ambassador and give lectures to staff, parents and children in schools as well as lectures at Universities and other Parental Groups. I am a SLE in the use of technology in the classroom. I am also a part time video game journalist running a site on independent video games.
