This is a whole lesson on The Stock Market (GAME). This is the fourth lesson on a large series of lessons on banking and the economics of finance at a macro level. This lesson looks at all the jargon or keywords of the stock market to begin to understand what it all means. However, the lesson is mainly built around the main activity, which is a stock market fantasy share game. The lesson comes with rules and instructions as well as an Excel spreadsheet all set up with applicable formulas to manage it. You can continue the fantasy share game for the rest or for as long as you the teacher like. The pupils LOVE IT! This lesson is ready to go, with no prep required. It is also great for home learning. 12-slide presentation + resources.

The lesson includes:

  • Starter
  • Learning Objectives (differentiated)
  • Keywords (student handout)
  • 2 Handouts (to support pupils notes on stock market keywords and jargon)
  • MAIN GAME ACTIVITY (become Warren Buffets)
  • Key Questions
  • Plenary
