This lesson is aimed mainly at Edexcel, but can be adapted for other courses.
Access to the course textbook is recommended.
Pupils go through a number of different tasks, aimed to look at the different changes in society throughout the Interregnum of 1649-1660.
Pupils begin with a focus on the poor, the different types, and the main methods used to aid them, considering sources and using the textbook to identify the main changes made.
The teacher then introduces the Radar Graph task, and using three colours, pupils are to fill it in. This is guided by the teacher in the first instance, with basics for each of the 5 main areas on the powerpoint, before pupils work independently to complete the task using the course textbook (page guidance is given).
This should take at least 2 hours to complete fully, before pupils are then guided to an exam question that can be completed in lesson or as homework to consolidate understanding.
