The assessment covers the main areas of Topic 1.1, with a Keyterms matching task, Multiple choice questions and Short mark essay questions ( worth 2 to 3 marks). The overall total marks for the assessment is 40.
The assessment front sheet can be used as a personalised learning checklist (PLC) which allows students to reflect on their areas of strengths and weakness, by using a RAG coding (Red = Poor, Amber = Satisfactory, Green = Secure).
Students could take the test in a lesson time and mark the multiple choice via peer assessment (green pen) and class discussion. Teacher marks the essay questions.
