Engineering Challenge 1- Paper Aeroplanes

This is the first in a series of Engineering challenges that were originally uploaded to keep the pupils busy and entertained at home during the lockdown. The challenges help to break up the writing, reading and typing up of lots of work and can be used as practical challenges for all ages. It allows the freedom of creativity and real thinking to solve problems and look for improved solutions, all that we wish of an Engineer or designer!

The file includes the brief, objective, instructions of what to do, equipment list and notes for help. There is also a page for pupils to record any pre-testing thoughts, comments after the test and testing analysis with detailed write ups. I have also included an example of how to answer the write up page to help with any explaining if setting the work online as I have had to do.
