English language paper 1 and paper 2 style activity using an extract from Lord of the flies

This is a worksheet/activity based on an extract from Lord of the Flies and it can be given to students to practice /analyse language and to be able to independently identify the writer’s craft and devices used by the writer. It will aslo help students practice how to look in-depth into the effect of the devices the writer uses on the reader. It can be used for both AQA language paper 1 question 2 and language paper 2 question 3 and Edexcel Language paper 1 and paper 2 both question 3.
