This is a great resource that I use to help students think about their essays in more detail. It breaks down essays into four components; understanding the question, introductions, main body and conclusions. Each component has a how-to guide with tips and proposed structures, with detailed, high-level answer examples. There are tasks throughout to get students to engage with the material. This resource is aimed at A-Level history students, and can be applied to the essay questions on the exam too. It can be used as an essay-writing crash course, revision booklet or as an introduction to essays.
