Activate 1 Matter: Particle model and separating mixtures Year 7 KS3 chemistry

These are the lessons for the Activate 1 (New book) scheme of work. Each lesson has a powerpoint which guides you through the lesson. Most lessons are suitable for non-specialists as answers to any questions on the powerpoint are included. Starting activities are a mixture of literacy, numeracy and scientific thinking. Most lessons have 'literacy support sheets' for SEN students and those who struggle to write quickly. There are differentiated double-sided flashcards to prepare for end of unit tests. Chromatography lesson is not included as I did not create a new lesson for this but re-used a colleague's lesson.
