This fun, engaging non-chronological report exemplar text contains the following features: language features such as the following: rule of three, alliteration, similes and facts; grammar features such as commands, questions, relative clauses and synonyms to avoid repetition; and punctuation such as question marks, apostrophes for singular possession, apostrophes for plural possession, brackets, colons, semi-colons, dashes and hyphens.
This 650 word example non-chronological report can be used to examine the features of non-chronological report writing as a WAGOLL before pupils embark on writing their own non-chronological report.
