# Fall No Prep Math and Literacy Printables for First Grade

This is designed to help first graders review math and literacy targets. Pages can be printed and used immediately or sent home as homework. Also great for sub tubs.

Pumpkin picking nouns and verbs- color by the code
A bushel of nouns- color by the code for person, place, thing

Roll and read (2 pages)- roll a die and read the sight words, tally the rolls
CVC words- identify the cvc picture
Short word family (5 pages, one per vowel)- cut and paste the word family ending to match the picture/beginning sound
Sight word frames (2 pages)- uses words from the pre-primer list
Super Fall Sentences (3 pages)
How does your ____ grow? pumpkins, apples (with picture clues and transition words)
Fact or Opinion Apples
Characters and Setting (2 pages)- color the picture, write to describe the characters and setting
Compare and Contrast- venn diagram for apple and pumpkin
Fall Sentence Scrambles- unscramble the words to make sentences (2 pg)
Fall punctuation- identify the missing punctuation
Making words (3 pages)- sunflower, scarecrow, pumpkin patch
Color by the Code: Sight Words- (2 pg)
Design and Describe- students color/design the picture, then use adjectives to describe their design (2 pg)
Fall Patterns
Ten Frame leaves- use 10 frames to solve equations
Making 10- students write equations to match the beads on the rekenrek
Time to the hour
Acorn numbers (2 pages)- number sense
Counting crows- counting up to 60
Skip-counting crows- skip-counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's
True or False Equations
Place Value: Tens and Ones
Missing Part Apples- determine which number completes the equations
Even and Odd acorns- complete the equations, then color by the code for evens and odds

Comparing Pumpkins- use symbols to compare numbers
